MATTI ISO-KUUSELA APPOINTED AS VERSOWOOD’S NEW SALES DIRECTOR

Matti Iso-Kuusela (37) Master of Science (Agriculture and Forestry), has been appointed as Versowood’s new Sales Director and member of the Executive Board, starting 1 June 2020. Matti has been working for the company since 2006 in positions such as Shipping Manager, Sales Manager, Shipping and Logistics Director as well as Director of Exports of pine and glulam.

The current Sales Director Eero Valio (67) is retiring at the end of 2020. For the remainder of his time at work, Eero will be working on special tasks defined by the CEO.

Harri Rantala (49) Bachelor of Engineering in wood technology, will continue as Product Group Director for spruce and take on the additional responsibility of glulam. Harri has been working for the company since 2016 as Export Director for spruce and, before that, as Product Manager, Sales and Delivery Manager, Development Manager and Director of Unit at Metsä Group Oy.

Jani Ukkonen (46) Bachelor of Engineering in wood technology, has been appointed as Product Group Director for pine. Jani Ukkonen has held various supervisory positions within the company as well as the positions of Shipping Manager and Domestic Sales Director.
