Korkeakoski sawmill

Korkeakoski sawmill transferred to Versowood’s ownership on 31 December 2025 following a corporate acquisition.
The Kopra family sold the Korkeakoski sawmill in 1988 to the then United Paper Mills (today UPM).

Korkeakoski sawmill is specialised in sawing pine. The mill produces nearly 350,000 m³ of high-quality pine sawn timber annually. The raw material for Korkeakoski is sourced by Versowood’s own forestry department as locally as possible. All raw material is 100% Finnish, and timber procurement complies with PEFC certification standards.

The Korkeakoski sawline was modernised in summer 2025, and the facility is in excellent condition. Following this investment, the production target for the coming years is between 350,000 and 400,000 m³.
